


Capstone – Integrated Charter School Leadership
This 30-day capstone course brings together all key components of charter school leadership, integrating financial management, human resources, curriculum design, and state compliance with a focus on social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices. Participants will engage in on-the-job training (OJT) across multiple departments, including collaboration with the Principal/Superintendent, CFO, HR Department, and Director of Curriculum Design. Additionally, they will apply data analytics to implement effective Academic Action Plans, ensuring informed decision-making for student success. Through hands-on experience, case studies, and strategic planning, this course prepares future leaders to manage and sustain high-performing charter schools.

Analyze state processes and procedures to design an educational institution that supports social-emotional and trauma-informed learning environments.

Develop effective strategies for hiring, training, and retaining faculty and staff, ensuring alignment with state charter requirements and organizational values.

Evaluate charter school financial resources to ensure long-term sustainability, applying principles of financial accounting, budgeting, and compliance.

Analyze Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and assess the impact on student learning proficiency and engagement.
